what do i wear??.. help help help?
hi y’all.. im moving to dubai next month so i’ve decided to buy a few new clothes.. im a high school student and im a big fan of scene fashion.. can u please suggest something casual yet trendy that i can wear n go to school.. n in dubai do females have to wear a scarf n all?
oh and i dont wear barmuda shorts or mini skirts… add some pics if u want

no they dont have to, but they can.
And wear for out of school shorts, cotton tops, because its going to be hot there, and for school take longer shorts, tops etc.

i think they were long flowy colourful things but its completely different to the things you wear i think

okay, im an american girl that has lived in the middle east for the majority of her life :) so i think i can help here :D
okay, now i love the scene look but im not very knowledgable on it. sorry :/ but i can tell you that the women do not HAVE to wear the scarf and everything like that, but they can if they choose too. However you have to be Muslim to do even wear it, so you’re fine :). Try not to wear anything that is too above your knee, like something the length of barmuda shorts are fine, but you already said you didnt wear that kind of stuff so yeah lol. When you’re in public try not to wear too much clivage, they don’t like it, but they wont do anything if you do. Don’t run around with your stomach showing either, basically be a bit more conscious of how conservative you are.
You dont have to do those things, but it’s just polite to the Muslim culture. You can wear all the make up you want, style your hair how ever, it doesn’t matter… just how much skin you show is the main thing.
I know i didn’t help much but I thought I would just inform you :)
