As an American, What kinds of jobs could I get in Dubai-especially in the fashion industry or elsewhere?
I have to write a paper for my english class about what I want to be when I grow up. I know I want to live overseas.

Fashion and retail industry has many jobs in Dubai. Especially designer wear is very popular in Dubai. The job is depending on your experience in the fashion industry.
There are jobs from basic retail assistant to senior fashion/design managers. So the short answer is all sorts of fashion related jobs are available in Dubai.
